1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FindMyCaseManager platform ("Platform"), operated by FindMyCaseManager Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales.

By registering for an account or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Definitions

  • "Platform" means the FindMyCaseManager website and all associated services
  • "User" means any person or organisation with a registered account
  • "Law Firm User" means a registered law firm using the Platform to find case managers
  • "Case Manager User" means an individual case manager with a profile on the Platform
  • "Company User" means a case management company managing team members on the Platform
  • "Profile" means the public-facing information about a case manager on the Platform
  • "Enquiry" means a message sent through the Platform between users

3. Account Registration

To use our Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms. If registering on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Provide false or misleading information in your profile or account
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Platform using automated means
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation
  • Impersonate another person or organisation
  • Use the Platform to send unsolicited communications or spam
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform

5. Profiles & Content

Case Manager and Company Users are responsible for ensuring that all information in their profiles is accurate, current, and not misleading. This includes qualifications, specialisms, and availability status.

By creating a profile, you grant FindMyCaseManager a non-exclusive licence to display your profile information to other registered users of the Platform for the purpose of providing our service.

We reserve the right to remove or suspend any profile that we believe contains inaccurate, misleading, or inappropriate content.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Some features of the Platform require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay the applicable fees as described on our Pricing page
  • Provide accurate billing information
  • Accept that subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.

7. Limitation of Liability

FindMyCaseManager is a directory and communication platform. We do not:

  • Verify the qualifications or competence of case managers listed on the Platform
  • Guarantee the availability, suitability, or quality of any case manager
  • Act as a party to any agreement between law firms and case managers
  • Accept liability for any loss arising from the instruction of a case manager found through the Platform

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use of the Platform is harmful to us, other users, or third parties.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your profile will be removed from the Platform, subject to our data retention policy.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
